Prices -
Our standard published rates reflect the business investment made in running the studio premises, professional photographers insurance and using some of the best photography equipment and lighting currently available. Clearly we carry these costs whatever the type of photography done, whether in the studio or out on location.

Our prices include the necessary post production stage required to download and digitally develop any images taken for clients which are subsequently burnt to CD/DVD. This digital development post production time which includes colour balancing can be up to a further 50% of the time spent on location or shooting in the studio. When film was used this process was handled by a photo developing lab and clients recognized this as an additional cost to complete the work.

Discounts on our half day and full day commercial photography rates are available. They are calculated on size of job, continuity of work from a client and the deliverables required by the client (particulars of the brief), plus availability to complete work based on our current diary commitments.

Portraiture

STUDIO photography
Our studio is located at the Minster Chambers, adjacent to the historic Southwell Minster and provides a warm welcoming atmosphere, designed with a modern contemporary theme. It's makes the ideal relaxed environment to view, discuss and choose your images after your photography session has been completed.
We use state of the art studio lighting equipment which is important to ensure consistency and quality of both the light and colour in an image. Framing suggestions are available from completed work on display.

LOCATION photography
Alternatively let us come to you - perhaps we could capture images of your family out and about, playing their favorite sport, or just relaxing on a sunday afternoon walk in the park. - We have both the experience and equipment to capture fast moving sports activities from the side lines so to speak and with long telephoto camera lenses we can remain on the periphery, so not restrict natural interaction.

So, whichever you choose, studio or location, let us capture your portrait with a modern look, a more traditional pose or just having fun - the choice is yours.

Currently there are several wedding packages available from David Charles Photography and for each we always prefer to discuss the details with you personally at our studio. Why, well we understand and appreciate that every bride to be will have their own ideas of how they want their special day recorded. Choice of package forms the basis of our photography for the Wedding day, with several other options available for you to choose to make it your own.

• You may wish to opt for our photography and print only package, where you supply your own album and mount the images yourself.
• Alternatively we can offer a range of quality albums inclusive in the price of our other wedding packages.

Our wedding photography style is flexible, you can specify your preference for traditional or contemporary images, or even a combination of the two!

Whether you are celebrating a special birthday, anniversary ball, or surprise party, why not invite us too! We can help record the event for you, either by individual table photographs of if space permits set up a 'small studio' area with lights and background. - Prices are based on post code location, attendance time and number of guests. Prints are presented in small card folders or card stands.
